About Us

Peniel Glory Preparatory School ,located at Asuakwaa ,is a private institution founded by Mr and Mrs Attuah-Oppong ,The school officially opened for admission and academic work commence, in line with Ghana Education Service school terms and holidays. That is, 1st term 10th September-12th December 2013. (14weeks).Within two years span the total number of students we started with increased from 6 pupils to 109 pupils as recorded from 2013-2014/2014-2015 Academic calender.

Student Population Growth

• 2013-2015 ----- 109 pupils
• 2015- 2017 ----- 550 pupils

In the past years,staff members have significantly improved our school culture by investing in Positive Behavior Intervention. Our staffs have also increased from 20 (for both Non-teaching Staff and teaching Staff). These efforts have led to dramatic improvements to our school climate and student attendance.

• 2015-2017 ---- 59 staffs

In addition to enticingly decorated classrooms,  School Library , an ICT lab. Sports fields, a basketball court, soon-to-be renovated nursery garden, a state-of-art cafeteria and three small play areas complete the facilities available and also a timely secured buses that runs through out sunyani.

Levels

The Infant School follows the revised Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (creche,Nursery and KG ) ,teaching and learning are structured to follow the GES guide ,such as in English, Mathematics, Science, English as a Second Language and Information Communication Technology . The curriculum is designed to enhance the development of academic, social, emotional, creative and physical skills. Children are encouraged to pursue excellence, whilst being challenged at their own level of development.

Both the primary and  Junior School s(class 1 , 2 ,  3 , 4 , 5 , 6, JHS1-3 ) are ever evolving and improving force .The quality of teaching and learning that takes place is designed to position our students competently and confidently for the 21st century. Technology permeates many aspects of our work with interactive whiteboards in all teaching areas and IT as an integral part of subject teaching. Our mandate of excellence in all areas compels us to continue to seek ways to improve our existing practices.
